Job summary

TKF STEEL SDN BHD is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage costings, BQ, and tender documents for steel structural works. You will administer contracts, evaluate progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts while closely monitoring budgets.

You should have a Quantity Surveying degree or diploma, steel industry experience, and strong numerical/analytical skills, with fluency in Chinese and English and the ability to read technical drawings.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Experience in steel structure fabrication or construction preferred.
• Fluent in Chinese and English (spoken and written).
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical structural drawings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze project costings, bills of quantities (BQ), and tender documents for steel structural works.
• Administer contracts, including preparation and evaluation of progress claims and variation orders.
• Prepare and evaluate final accounts and monitor project budgets.
• Collaborate with project managers, site teams, and clients to track budgets and resolve commercial issues.
• Monitor and resolve commercial issues related to projects.
