Job summary

TF AMD Microelectronics (Penang) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to support containment activities for non-conforming materials and perform data analysis and reporting. The role includes RMA inspection, CAPA validation audits, and collaboration with production to sustain quality.

Ideal candidates hold a Diploma in Engineering with 2+ years in a semiconductor setting or related field, and are willing to work in Bayan Lepas. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Containment activities for non-conforming materials and products.
• Collect, compile, and analyze quality data and prepare reports.
• Perform verification and inspection on RMA lots.
• Assist Quality Engineers in assessments relating to quality concerns and product issues.
• Conduct routine process and product audits to ensure quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality requirements, and customer specifications.
• Support internal, external, and customer audits.
• Perform CAPA validation audits at 3, 6, and 9 months.
• Assist in failure investigations and root cause analysis.
• Support implementation and verification of corrective actions.
• Participate in continuous improvement to enhance product quality and manufacturing processes.
• Provide quality-related training and guidance to QA Operators.
• Collaborate with production to maintain quality throughout manufacturing.
• Maintain quality documentation and records.

Job description

Support containment activities for non-conforming materials and products.

Collect, compile, and analyze quality-related data and prepare reports as required.

Perform verification and inspection activities on RMA (Return Material Authorization) lots.

Assist Quality Engineers in conducting assessments related to quality concerns and product issues

Conduct routine process and product audits to ensure adherence to quality standards.

Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality requirements, and customer specifications within production operations.

Support internal, external, and customer audits.

Perform Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) validation audits at designated intervals (3, 6, and 9 months).

Assist Quality Engineers in failure investigations and root cause analysis activities.

Support the implementation, monitoring, and verification of corrective actions.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing processes.

Provide quality-related training and guidance to QA Operators as assigned by the Quality Engineer.

Collaborate with production teams to ensure quality standards are consistently maintained throughout the manufacturing process

Maintain and control quality documentation, records, and reports.

Ensure quality documents are current, accurate, and properly managed in accordance with company requirements.

Other task assigned by Supervisor.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Engineering (Chemical), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Material Science), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent.
• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Basic written skills in English for report writing.
• Experience in semiconductor environment would be preferable.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Bayan Lepas.
• Preferably non-executives specializing in Quality Control/Assurance or equivalent.
• Fresh Graduate encourages to apply.
