Job summary

CE Brush Manufacturing Sdn Bhd, based in Batu Kawan, Malaysia, is seeking a disciplined QA/QC Technician to oversee frontline quality control on the production floor. This role starts as a gatekeeper with a clear path to quality engineering and Poka-Yoke implementations, on-site Mon-Fri.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on QA/QC in precision manufacturing.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and use manual tools.
• Strong technical English reading; fluent Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Perform 100% visual and dimensional inspections on production lines.
• Verify core dimensions and bristle trim against drawings using precision tools.
• Authorize production halts and issue NCRs when specs are not met.
• Work with Production Manager to analyze root causes and implement error-proofing.

Job description

We specialize in the engineering and design of technical custom brushes. We are seeking a disciplined, hands‑on QA/QC Technician to manage frontline quality control on our production floor.

This position begins as a floor-level gatekeeper focused on rigorous product verification, with a structured career path to transition into quality engineering and mistake‑proofing (Poka-Yoke) systems as the department expands.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct 100% visual and physical dimensional inspections of custom brushes directly on the manufacturing lines.

Utilize precision measurement instruments (vernier calipers, micrometers, and pin gauges) to verify core dimensions and bristle trim lengths against engineering drawings.

Authorize production halts and issue Non‑Conformance Reports (NCR) when product dimensions deviate from specifications.

Collaborate with the Production Manager to analyze root causes and implement mechanical error‑proofing fixtures.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: More than 5 years of hands‑on QA/QC experience within a precision manufacturing environment (e.g., precision machining, injection molding, or fabrication).

Technical Skill: Full competence in reading and interpreting mechanical engineering drawings and using manual measurement tools.

Language Proficiency: Strong comprehension of technical written English (for drawings and specifications) and fluent verbal Bahasa Malaysia.

Competency: Demonstrated professional backbone; ability to maintain strict quality standards and enforce compliance objectively on the shopfloor.
