Job summary

SMKARE S/B is seeking a Quality Assurance / Quality Control professional to support quality management across material intake, production, and finished goods. Training will be provided and progression toward full quality system capabilities will be supported.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of QA/QC experience with a degree or diploma, and be proficient in English, Malay and Chinese reading and writing.

Qualifications

• 2 years or above relevant work experience; QA / QC / Quality Assurance / Quality Control experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in executing quality inspections and sampling of incoming materials, production processes and finished goods.
• Ensure production processes comply with quality standards, SOP, Work Instructions and inspection requirements.
• Follow up on quality anomalies during production and assist in root cause analysis and improvement.
• Assist in quality data recording, analysis and related reporting.
• Assist in handling NCR, Corrective Action / Preventive Action (CAPA) and other quality matters.
• Assist in maintaining quality-related documents, inspection standards and QMS requirements.
• Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Engineering and other departments to resolve quality issues.
• Assist in quality confirmation and related checks before finished goods shipment.
• Participate in continuous improvement and quality enhancement projects.
• Participate in customer, supplier and internal quality audit-related work as required by the company

Job description

This is a comprehensive quality position centred on Quality Assurance & Quality Control. You will participate in quality management work across Incoming Material → Production Process → Finished Goods → Outgoing / Shipment, and under the guidance of senior team members and company training, progressively establish complete quality management capabilities.
