Job summary

Global Turbine Asia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Quality Senior Executive to support the Quality Manager in maintaining and continuously improving the Company's Quality Management System.

The role focuses on regulatory compliance, internal audits, safety risk management and quality monitoring to ensure maintenance activities meet CAAM, EASA Part-IS and related requirements. A Lead Auditor certification and 5+ years in aviation are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Aviation, Aircraft Maintenance or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the aviation industry, preferably within an MRO environment.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety Management Systems (SMS), and Information Security Management Systems (ISMS).
• Well-versed in aviation regulatory requirements, including CAAM, EASA Part 145, and MSTAR 145.
• Certified Lead Auditor or equivalent, with experience in internal audits, surveillance activities, and compliance monitoring.
• Trained in Human Factors, Air Legislation, Safety Management Systems, and EASA/CAAM Part 145 requirements.
• Proficient in conducting Root Cause Analysis and implementing corrective actions using quality tools such as 5 Why and Fishbone Diagram.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and related productivity tools.
• DGTA MSTAM training will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Deputise for the Quality Manager in their absence and support the day-to-day management of quality and compliance activities.
• Support the Quality Manager in ensuring compliance with applicable CAAM, EASA Part-145, DGTA/MSTAR 145 and EASA Part-IS requirements, including maintaining relevant certifications and approvals
• Conduct internal audits, compliance monitoring and surveillance in accordance with the approved Quality Audit Plan and follow up on audit findings and corrective actions.
• Support the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS), including policies, procedures, work instructions and quality records.
• Monitor and analyse quality performance data, including NCRs, customer complaints, MORs, CARs, safety reports, ARC registers and vendor performance, and report significant issues to the Quality Manager.
• Manage the renewal and maintenance of authorisations for Certifying Staff, Quality Audit Staff, Logistic Approval Holders and approved Suppliers.
• Support the Quality Manager in Quality Management Review Meetings, Human Factors activities and the identification of quality and competency improvement needs.
• Ensure proper review, control, filing and archiving of quality and maintenance records, including completed maintenance work packs, and communicate changes to approved procedures, instructions and forms.

Requirements
