Job summary

Randstad Malaysia, on behalf of a global aerospace manufacturer in Negeri Sembilan, seeks a Senior Quality Engineer to uphold world-class quality systems, drive regulatory compliance, and ensure zero-defect production across flight-critical components.

The ideal candidate delivers 5 years’ aerospace quality engineering experience, Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and fluent Mandarin and English to liaise with regional suppliers and global stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace, mechanical, manufacturing, precision engineering or related field.
• 5 years of quality engineering experience in aerospace or precision machining manufacturing.
• Professional fluency in Mandarin and English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s QMS to ensure strict compliance with AS9100, Nadcap, customer specifications, and regulatory standards.
• Conduct internal and external audits, first article inspections (FAI), and testing across incoming, in-process, and finished products to verify adherence to drawing requirements.
• Lead root cause analyses and execute CAPA to resolve non-conformances, settle customer quality complaints, and manage product returns.
• Analyze quality metrics using SPC, FMEA, and control charts to drive process optimization, reduce scrap/rework, and deliver continuous operational improvements.
• Oversee supplier quality performance, evaluating vendors and managing incoming material integrity to safeguard manufacturing reliability.
• Train production staff on quality standards and inspection protocols while maintaining accurate compliance records and reporting key metrics to management.
