Job summary

Celestica is seeking a Specialist, Operations Quality in Kulim, Kedah, Malaysia. The role focuses on Quality Planning, Prevention, Corrective Action, and Continual Improvement across NPI to mass production, ensuring processes meet ISO/IPC standards.

You will lead audits, drive root-cause analysis, and mentor junior staff to strengthen quality capabilities across the manufacturing site.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Solid understanding of ISO/IPC standards and quality tools.
Experience applying FMEA, SPC and 8D methodologies.

Responsibilities

Lead the team to handle quality excursions independently and take timely actions.
Oversee product and material quality from NPI to mass production.
Develop and maintain quality plans for material, process and product areas.
Monitor and report quality KPIs for internal and external customers.
Drive continuous improvement benefiting customers, Celestica and suppliers.
Maintain internal quality systems, procedures, and work instructions.
Lead audits of processes, products, and suppliers with follow-up actions.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory audits.
Track ECs and SPCNs to ensure timely implementation of changes.
Coach junior quality staff to improve knowledge and performance.
Align activities with quality strategy deployments from leadership.
