Job summary

Celestica is seeking an experienced Specialist, Operations Quality in Kulim, Malaysia. The role covers strategic leadership in digital factory deployment, site governance, and quality program execution from NPI to mass production.

You will drive process improvements, audits, and supplier quality initiatives, while mentoring junior engineers and aligning with global teams. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, 10+ years in PCBA/SMT/HLA, and proficiency with quality tools

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• Educational requirements may vary by geography.

Responsibilities

• Digital Factory Site Lead: drive site-level deployment, software enhancements, and system integrations (SAP, SP2, Optimus) in alignment with global teams.
• Manage implementation schedules and track progress via COS dashboard and Maturity Assessments.
• Lead COS Site governance: update scores, highlights, and RCCA trackers monthly.
• Conduct follow-ups with project leads and perform CPR reviews with General Manager.
• Establish customer PPAPs, Quality Plans and PMP documents from NPI through mass production.
• Lead audits and compliance to ISO, safety standards and internal quality systems.
• Act as DQR to ensure product and material quality meet customer requirements.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for customer feedback and quality excursions.
• Monitor KPI reporting, coordinate FMEA reviews and manage EC and SPC notifications.
• Coach junior staff and drive quality strategy deployment.
