Job summary

Celestica, Inc. in Malaysia seeks a Global Supplier Quality Advisor to drive worldwide supplier quality programs and NPI quality planning. You will lead audits, develop KPIs, and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to prevent defects and ensure compliance with ISO and IATF standards.

The role emphasizes problem prevention, data-driven improvement, and strong cross-functional collaboration across manufacturing and supply chain. Travel up to 50–75% is expected.

Qualifications

• Drive the creation, approval, and maintenance of worldwide SQMS documents and ensure timely execution.
• Lead the risk-based global supplier audit program and prioritize audits based on risk assessments.
• Maintain the global qualified auditor register and ensure appropriate assignments.
• Support local site SQEs with audits and supplier improvement initiatives; track KPIs.
• Monitor flow-down of customer and Celestica expectations to suppliers.
• Oversee quality planning during NPI, product transitions, and launches.
• Conduct Supplier Qualification audits and assist in supplier onboarding.
• Generate and report supplier performance metrics and data trends.
• Drive Supplier Quality Improvement Plans to resolve systemic issues.
• Develop and continuously improve global Supplier Quality processes and controls.
• Educate suppliers on FMEA, Control Plans, 8D, and problem-solving tools.
• Travel up to 50–75%.

Responsibilities

• Drive the creation, approval, and ongoing maintenance of worldwide SQMS documents and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Lead the risk-based global supplier audit program and schedule audits for critical suppliers.
• Maintain the global qualified auditor register and assign auditors to engagements.
• Support local site SQEs with on-site/virtual audits and supplier improvement initiatives; track KPIs.
• Monitor the flow-down of expectations to suppliers to ensure clarity.
• Oversee quality planning during NPI and product transitions.
• Conduct supplier qualification audits and assist in onboarding.
• Generate, analyze, and report supplier KPIs and data trends.
• Drive SQIP to resolve systemic issues with root-cause actions.
• Develop, deploy, and improve global Supplier Quality processes.
