Job summary

Celestica, Inc. in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Technician in Quality to execute and report on in-process and first article assessments.

You will drive improvements for key process and product characteristics, and ensure proper disposition of non-conforming materials on the manufacturing line. The role requires 4–6 years in a similar setting, solid knowledge of quality and manufacturing standards, and proficiency with Spectrum Pro, EtQ, Excel and Word.

Qualifications

• 4 to 6 years in a similar role or industry.
• Strong knowledge of quality and manufacturing standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with Spectrum Pro and EtQ.

Responsibilities

• Conducts and reports in process and product first layer assessment.
• Performs activities related to key process and product characteristics, provides improvements feedback.
• Supports and verifies internal non-conforming material identification and processing for proper disposition.
• Ensures changes and corrective actions to rectify non-conformance are followed on the manufacturing line.
• Participates in root cause analysis and problem solving.
• Performs First Article Assessment activities.
• Supports internal, industry and customer audits as required.
• Supports continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes.
• Supports and performs RMA qualification activities.
• Communicates with internal customers effectively.
• Uses quality systems like Spectrum Pro and EtQ.
