Job summary

Hirehub Group is seeking a Quality Operations lead in Senai, Johor, to manage QA/QC across materials, machining, and coatings. You will implement AI-driven inspection, perform process optimization, and ensure conformity to strict specs through CAPA and audits.

The role requires 5–7 years in precision fabrication with Mandarin proficiency for stakeholder liaison. Office-based, Mon–Fri, with a focus on quality excellence in a high-tech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree as specified.
• 5-7 years of QA/QC in precision fabrication, CNC machining, or contract manufacturing.
• Advanced reading of technical drawings, GD&T, and CMM operation.
• Understanding of high-precision multi-axis CNC machines and secondary processes (plating, anodizing, painting).
• Mastery of quality tools like Six Sigma, Lean, PFMEA, and 8D problem-solving.
• Proficient in Mandarin to liaise with Chinese stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage QA/QC lifecycle from incoming materials to final surface treatments.
• Implement AI-enhanced inspection systems and machine vision for zero-defect verification.
• Use AI models to analyze sensor data for real-time process adjustments and tool-wear prediction.
• Validate surface treatments, layer thickness, and material properties against specs.
• Drive CAPA and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100.

Job Descriptions

• Quality Operations & Compliance: Manage the entire QA/QC lifecycle from incoming raw materials to in-process CNC machining and final surface treatments/coatings.
• AI & Automated Inspection: Implement and oversee AI-enhanced inspection systems, including machine vision, for zero-defect verification of dimensions, surface roughness, and defects right off the machine.
• Process Optimization & Monitoring: Utilize AI models (such as digital twins and sensor-based monitoring) to analyse vibration, spindle torque, and acoustic emissions for real-time feed/speed adjustments and tool-wear prediction.
• Deflect & Coating Management: Validate surface treatments, layer thicknesses, and material properties against strict specifications.
• Quality Audits & Standards: Ensure ongoing compliance and drive Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) implementation in accordance with ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards.
  

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Management, or Materials Science.
• Minimum 5-7 years of QA/QC experience in precision fabrication, CNC machining, or contract manufacturing environments.
• Advanced proficiency in reading technical drawings, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), and operating CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines).
• In-depth understanding of high-precision multi-axis CNC machines and secondary special processes (plating, anodizing, painting).
• Mastery of quality tools and methodologies like Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, PFMEA, and 8D problem-solving.
  
• Proficient in Mandarin speaking and writing to liaise with Chinese stakeholders.

Location: Senai, Johor

Working Hours: Mon - Fri (8:30AM - 5:30PM)

Salary Range: RM9,000 - 12,000
