Hunters International Sdn Bhd is seeking a Manager / Assistant Manager, Quality Control to oversee QC operations in Shah Alam. The role drives measurement improvements, handles FAI workflows, and ensures products meet strict high-precision tolerances.

The candidate should have a Mechanical Engineering or quality-focused degree, 5–7 years of QC experience in precision manufacturing, and at least 2 years in a supervisory role. It is a fully on-site role with rotation shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
• 5–7 years of quality control experience in precision engineering; 2+ years in supervision.
• Hands-on proficiency with CMM, video measurement systems, micrometers, and precision gauges.
• Strong English; Mandarin a plus.
• GD&T interpretation and international quality standards knowledge.
• Independent, proactive problem-solver with leadership and analytical skills.
• Able to rotate shifts when required.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily QC operations for incoming materials and final components, including FAI workflows.
• Manage CMM and QC equipment, calibrations, traceability logs, and GR&R studies.
• Lead non-conformance investigations, apply SPC, and manage MRB/ERP workflows.
• Mentor and train QC technicians on GD&T and calibration while enforcing ISO/5S standards.

About the Company

Our client is a reputable manufacturer of precision components and modules in high-mix low-volume, with specialization in very complex machining, high surface finishing and product cleanliness. They are an established supplier for many major global players in the Optical, Semicon, Diagnostics, Medical, and Life Science industries.

We are looking for a Manager /Assistant Manager, Quality Control to oversee the day-to-day operations of incoming and outgoing quality control, troubleshoot measurement issues, implement new metrology equipment, and continuously upgrade measurement methods to meet strict high-precision engineering standards

• Work Location: Shah Alam, Selangor
• Work Mode: Fully On-Site

Key Responsibilities

• QC Operations: Oversee daily incoming raw materials, final components before shipping, and first-article inspection (FAI) workflows to ensure maximum throughput and compliance with strict engineering tolerances.
• CMM & QC Equipment Management: Manage high-precision measurement assets (CMM, Vision Measurement Systems, micrometers, gauges), ensuring strict adherence to calibration schedules, traceability logs, and GR&R studies.
• Non-Conformance & Troubleshooting: Drive root-cause investigations, apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) for line variations, and manage non-conforming parts efficiently via the MRB and ERP systems.
• Team Development: Mentor and train QC technicians and junior inspectors on GD&T, measurement techniques, and equipment calibration, while enforcing strict compliance withISO and5S housekeeping standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 - 7 years of quality control experience in precision engineering or related manufacturing environments, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Hands-on proficiency with core QC equipment, including CMM, Video Measurement Systems, micrometers, and precision gauges.
• Proficiency in English, Mandarin is a plus.
• Strong command of technical drawing interpretation, GD&T, and international quality standards.
• Independent, proactive problem-solver with strong leadership and analytical capabilities.
• Flexible to work on rotation shift when needed.

Remuneration:

RM 7,000 - RM 10,000
