Job summary

Delta Electronics (Thailand) Public Company Limited in Penang, Malaysia, seeks an RMA / Electrical Repair / Failure Analysis Engineer to analyze defective units and support repair and QA activities.

The role includes setting up test fixtures, recording analyses, and collaborating with engineering teams for root-cause investigations, with occasional on-site FA/rework at customer sites to ensure quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering from a recognized university.
• 2–3+ years of working experience in related functions.
• At least 3 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment.
• RMA failure analysis skills and electrical circuit knowledge.
• Good English communication; Chinese is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze defect units returned from customers, contract manufacturers, factory, or field.
• Set up and maintain test equipment and fixtures for repair/analysis.
• Generate the Analysis Report per customer or internal factory requirement.
• Work with factory to identify root cause and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct FA/rework at customer sites if necessary.
• Ensure compliance with FA/QA operating policies and work instructions.

Quality Failure Analysis - FAE/Repair (Penang, Malaysia)

We are looking for an RMA / Electrical Repair / Failure Analysis Engineer for Penang plants.

Key Requirements:

RMA failure analysis skill with experience of 1-3 years in electronic products.

Knowledge of electronic circuit diagrams.

Your main role is to:

Analysis of defect units returned from customer / contact manufacturing / factory or marketing field

Determine and set up test equipment and test fixture for repair/analysis.

Provide and set up test equipment and fixture for repairing include special request from customer or factory.

Review all test equipment to be in accordance with the calibration requirement.

Keep records of all failure analysis activities.

Conduct other FA tasks requested by QA or customers.

Generate the Analysis Report per customer or internal factory required.

Work with factory to find out the root cause, corrective and prevention actions and try to reduplicate the failure symptoms.

Conduct screening, FA and rework activities at customer sites if necessary.

Must be familiar with all operating policies and Work Instructions for FA/QA

Who are we looking for?

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics Engineer, or related field from a recognized university.

Working experiences in related functions 2-3 years or above

At least 3 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment

HasFailure analysis skills andElectrical circuit knowledge

Good in Englishcommunication skill, Chinese skills are plus
