Job summary

Brooks is seeking a Quality Engineer to establish and sustain high product quality in a semiconductor manufacturing environment. You will develop, implement, and monitor quality systems, collaborate with cross‑functional teams to prevent defects, and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements include a bachelor’s in engineering, 5–7 years in quality, CQE/CRE advantageous, and proficiency with MES/ERP, JMP or Minitab. You will lead audits, apply APQP, FMEA, Six Sigma, and mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of relevant experience in a quality‑focused role.
• CQE or CRE certification is an added advantage.
• Experience developing manufacturing processes and qualification plans for NPI and changes.
• Strong proficiency with quality methodologies and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop Quality and Process Control Methods with cross‑functional teams.
• Monitor processes to ensure defined quality standards and reduce variation.
• Investigate product failures, conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Lead and participate in internal and external quality audits for ISO 9001 compliance.
• Collect and analyze quality data to identify trends and support decisions.
• Apply Six Sigma/Lean methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
