Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to support both pre-production and mass production activities. You will participate in APQP and quality meetings, understand customer quality requirements, lead capability studies, and prepare Inspection Instructions.

In mass production, you will conduct line audits, monitor quality trends, address non-conformities, and work with CQE/SQE to drive improvements. English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Quality Assurance (5 years for education lower than Diploma).
• English literacy; read and write proficiently.
• Able to lead and resolve customer complaints with minimal supervision.
• Familiar with SPC, FMEA, Control Plan and work instructions.
• Knowledge of APQP, MSA, PPAP a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and conduct pre-production capabilities studies.
• Sign off golden samples and limit samples.
• Lead and train quality inspectors to inspect parts according to Inspection Instructions.
• Conduct line audits to ensure that all parties are meeting customer requirements.
• Obtain quality feedback from customers and monitor quality trends.

Before Mass Production

• Participate in APQP and quality meetings.
• Understand customer quality requirements.
• Lead and conduct pre-production capabilities studies.
• Prepare document Inspection Instructions
• Sign off golden samples and (if applicable) limit samples.
• Lead and train quality inspectors to inspect the parts according to Inspection Instructions

Mass Production

• Conduct line audits on a pre-defined frequency to ensure that all parties are meeting customer requirements
• Obtain quality feedback from customers regularly to monitor our quality trends and take appropriate preventive actions if trends indicate that the quality is getting worse.
• Analyze all customer returns and make continual improvement plans to reduce and eliminate customer returns.
• Making disposition on non-conforming products
• Participating in Quality meeting among the department or related Department

Customer Feedback, Complaints and Enquires

• Customer quality feedback is to be replied within 1 working day of customer feedback or customer required dateline whichever earlier.
• Containment action report for the customer quality feedback must be within 24 hours.
• Recommend Continuous Improvement for the high repeat quality issues from Customer.
• Work with CQE, SQE and others related stakeholders for quality issues.

International Standard

• Basic knowledge on Plastic Injection Molding Process & Secondary Process
• Knowledge of 8D principles and application
• Knowledge on Ishikawa Diagram and 3 x 5 Whys
• Knowledge of process capability studies (Cpk, Ppk)
• Understanding well quality control core tools, e.g.: APQP, PPQP, MSA, SPC, FMEA & Etc
• Computer Literacy – Basic Computer knowledge (including MS Office Applications such as MS Words, MS Excel)

Requirements
