Job summary

Toshiba Elevator Manufacturing Asia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Quality and Parts Inspection role to ensure incoming parts meet standards and to maintain clear inspection records. The position supports ISO compliance and assists with daily quality procedures on the production floor.

Fresh graduates are welcome, with up to 3 years in manufacturing or QC preferred. Reading mechanical drawings and basic QMS knowledge are advantageous, along with strong communication and documentation habits.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

• Ability to read mechanical drawings.
• Basic knowledge of Quality Management Systems or problem-solving tools is a plus.
• Good communication and neat documentation habits.

Responsibilities

• Quality & Parts Inspection: Check incoming parts and products to ensure they follow guidelines and track rejected, fixed, or scrapped items.
• Record Keeping: Write down and keep clear records of inspection results in check sheets.
• Quality Standards & ISO Rules: Follow daily quality procedures and SOPs to meet ISO 9001 standards and support ISO audits.
• Process & Delivery Support: Help check part movement to keep operations smooth and deliveries on time.
• Team & Manager Support: Work with QC Manager and team to share updates and raise quality awareness.
• Ad-Hoc Tasks: Perform extra tasks or special projects as assigned by supervisors.

Requirement

Education: Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (SPM or relevant experience can also be considered).

Experience: Fresh graduates are welcome to apply! Candidates with up to 3 years of experience in manufacturing or Quality Control (QC) are preferred.

Technical Skills: Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings.

Bonus Skills: Basic knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) or problem-solving tools is an added advantage.

Soft Skills: Good communication, neat documentation habits, and a willingness to learn.
