Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• Experience as QC Inspector or QA technician in manufacturing/logistics.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001/ISO 14001 or equivalent.
• Attention to detail with ability to identify defects.
• Proficiency with quality management software.

Responsibilities

• Conducting systematic inspections and quality tests on products at various stages of production and before delivery
• Documenting inspection results, test data and quality metrics in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements
• Identifying defects, inconsistencies and non-conformities, and escalating issues to relevant departments for corrective action
• Performing statistical analysis and trend analysis on quality data to identify areas for improvement
• Maintaining and calibrating quality control equipment and testing instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability
• Collaborating with production and logistics teams to investigate quality issues and implement preventative measures
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards, certifications and customer specifications
• Preparing quality control reports and presenting findings to management and relevant stakeholders
• Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and quality management system audits
• Training and guiding production staff on quality standards and best practices
• Assist and actively participate in Safety Committee activities, working closely with the Safety Team to review, strengthen and continuously improve safety procedures and practices within production and operational areas
• Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by The Head of Department

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Control Executive to join APS-MANJA SDN. BHD. in Shah Alam, Selangor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring that our manufacturing and logistics operations meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. As a Quality Control Executive, you will be responsible for inspecting, testing and monitoring products and processes to guarantee they meet our rigorous quality specifications and industry regulations. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for excellence and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

What we're looking for

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field

Proven experience working as a Quality Control Inspector, Quality Assurance Technician, or similar role within manufacturing or logistics environments

Strong knowledge of quality control principles, testing methodologies and statistical process control (SPC)

Proficiency in using quality control equipment, measuring instruments and testing tools

Familiarity with international quality standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001 or equivalent certifications

Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify defects and inconsistencies accurately

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and quality management software

Excellent communication skills with the ability to document findings clearly and liaise effectively across departments

The ability to work independently whilst contributing to a collaborative team environment

A commitment to health and safety standards and workplace compliance

Experience with root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective and preventative action (CAPA) processes would be advantageous
