Jora Malaysia is seeking a QC technician to inspect raw materials and finished feeds, conduct laboratory testing, and maintain records in a production and laboratory environment.
The ideal candidate holds a diploma or degree in a related field and has 1–2 years of experience in quality control or laboratory testing. Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English is required, with Pu Tong Hua as an added advantage.

Inspect and monitor incoming raw materials, feed samples, in-process materials and finished feed to ensure compliance with company specifications and quality standards.
Conduct laboratory testing and approximate analysis of raw materials and feed according to established procedures and standards.
Perform accurate sampling, testing and inspection, and maintain proper laboratory records, test results and reports.
Investigate quality problems, abnormal test results and non-conformities, and assist in identifying root causes and corrective actions.
Liaise with suppliers on raw material quality issues and follow up on necessary corrective actions.
Work closely with Production, Warehouse and Nutrition teams to resolve quality issues and maintain consistent feed quality.
Prepare and handle laboratory chemicals, reagents and samples, and ensure proper chemical storage, handling and inventory control.
Ensure laboratory equipment and measuring instruments are properly maintained, serviced and calibrated.
Maintain good laboratory housekeeping, safety and hygiene practices, and support internal/external audits and quality improvement activities.
Perform other QC-related duties and assignments as required by the Manager.
Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Animal Science, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Laboratory Technology or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance or laboratory testing is preferred.
Experience in animal feed, food manufacturing or related industries will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of raw material inspection, laboratory testing and basic analytical testing.
Good analytical, problem-solving and investigation skills, with strong attention to detail.
Able to work independently and perform hands-on laboratory and QC activities.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Pu Tong Hua is an added advantage.
Willing to work in a production and laboratory environment.
