Job summary

Dynamic Transforms Sdn Bhd is seeking a Quality Assurance Executive to oversee halal compliance and maintain food safety and quality systems. The role requires ensuring raw materials, in-process and finished goods meet specifications, and coordinating with external labs for product analysis.

You will lead calibration, inspections, and non-conformity investigations, while training staff on GMP/HACCP standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Halal Management, Food Technology, Food Science, Quality Assurance or a related field.
• Halal Executive Certificate from a Halal Training Provider registered under the Halal Professional Board.
• Knowledge of JAKIM halal certification requirements and halal documentation.
• Experience in halal compliance, food manufacturing, quality assurance or similar roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee establishment, implementation, maintenance and monitoring of the food safety and quality system.
• Inspect incoming raw material, intermediate and finished goods for specifications.
• Verify compliance of intermediary/finished products at all production steps.
• Liaise with external lab on product analysis and results.
• Manage calibration schedule and review calibration results.
• Investigate non-conformities and report findings.
• Carry out sorting according to specifications.
• Inspect intermediate and finished goods by workers on production line.
• Provide feedback on non-conformities to supervisor.
• Check cleanliness of EBN output and personnel hygiene.

Job description

Oversee the establishment, implementation, maintenance and monitoring of the food safety and quality system.

Inspect the incoming raw material, intermediate and finished good and ensure their specifications are met.

Check to verify for compliance of all intermediary/finished product in all step of production.

Storekeeper for raw-cleaned EBN (stock in and out)

Liaise with external lab on product analysis and results

Manage the calibration schedule and review calibrations results.

Investigate to report on non-compliance/s.

Carry out sorting according to specifications.

To inspect the intermediate and finished good by workers along the production line.

Provide immediate feedback to superior on non-conformities detected in the production process, intermediary and end product.

Check the cleanliness of the EBN output by workers.

To check to ensure all personnel hygiene are maintained at all times.

Job Responsibilities:

Candidate must be a Malaysian citizen, in accordance with the applicable requirements for appointment as a Halal Executive.

Minimum Diploma in Halal Management, Food Technology, Food Science, Quality Assurance or a related field.

Must possess a recognised Halal Executive Certificate from a Halal Training Provider registered under the Halal Professional Board.

Knowledge of JAKIM halal certification requirements, halal assurance systems and halal documentation.

Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, food hygiene, traceability, product recall and quality management systems.

HACCP, GMP, internal auditor or food safety-related certification will be an added advantage.

Previous experience in halal compliance, food manufacturing, quality assurance or a similar role is preferred.

Fresh graduates with the required qualifications and Halal Executive certification are encouraged to apply.

Familiarity with halal certification applications and the MYeHALAL system will be an added advantage.

Able to conduct inspections, audits, investigations, training and follow-up activities independently.

Good documentation, reporting, problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
