Job summary

ALPHA BRAKE SDN BHD in Malaysia is seeking a Quality Assurance and Quality Control professional to oversee both QA systems and product inspections on the production floor. The role focuses on maintaining compliance and driving product quality across all stages of manufacturing.

You will develop and maintain the QMS in line with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949, prepare SOPs and control plans, lead quality training for staff, and coordinate corrective actions by investigating non-conformances and managing

• Experience implementing ISO 9001/IATF 16949 compliant QMS.
• Ability to prepare SOPs, Work Instructions, Control Plans and FMEA.
• Experience leading quality training for production staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee QA processes and product QC to ensure adherence to standards.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections, including measurement checks and visual evaluations.
• Oversee laboratory testing of raw materials and finished goods.
• Maintain inspection records, test results and non-conformance reports.
• Coordinate rejection handling, rework, and quarantine management.
• Perform root cause analysis and support defect elimination on the production floor.
• Lead internal audits and coordinate external audits.

Job description

To ensure that all products manufactured by Alpha Brake meet internal quality standards and customer expectations by overseeing both quality assurance systems and product quality control processes.

Quality Assurance (QA) – Process & System Oversight

Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.

Prepare and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions, Control Plans, and FMEA.

Lead quality training for production staff to ensure compliance with procedures.

Investigate non-conformances and initiate corrective and preventive actions

Conduct internal audits and coordinate external audits
