Swift Energy is seeking a QA/QC professional to develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC processes to meet company procedures, customer requirements, and international standards.
The role monitors product quality across manufacturing, plans inspections, reviews reports, and drives CAPA to prevent recurrence while collaborating with production, engineering, purchasing, and suppliers to ensure compliant, high quality releases.
Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QAQC) processes in compliance with company procedures, customer requirements, and applicable international standards.
Monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality plans, and inspection requirements.
Plan, coordinate, and supervise QC Inspectors in carrying out incoming, in-process, and final inspections.
Review and verify inspection reports, quality records, and test results to ensure accuracy, completeness, and traceability.
Identify non-conformities, conduct root cause analysis, and coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to prevent recurrence.
Work closely with Production, Engineering, Purchasing, and other departments to resolve quality issues and improve manufacturing processes.
Ensure all products comply with customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and relevant industry standards before release.
Prepare, review, and maintain quality documentation, including inspection procedures, quality plans, work instructions, and inspection checklists.
Monitor the effectiveness of quality control activities and recommend improvements to reduce defects, rework, and customer complaints.
Support supplier quality activities, including supplier evaluations, material quality verification, and resolution of supplier-related quality issues.
Participate in internal audits, external audits, customer audits, and certification audits (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
Ensure proper control and disposition of non-conforming materials and products in accordance with company procedures.
Ensure measuring and testing equipment are properly maintained, calibrated, and suitable for inspection activities.
Analyse quality performance data and prepare quality reports, KPIs, and improvement recommendations for management review.
Provide technical guidance and coaching to QC Inspectors on inspection techniques, quality standards, and problem-solving methods.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by applying quality tools such as 8D, CAPA, 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, or other quality methodologies where applicable.
Perform any other duties assigned by Management from time to time
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical / Manufacturing or related field).
Minimum 2–3 years experience/ fresh graduate encouraged to apply in Quality Control or Manufacturing environment.
Familiar with inspection procedures, quality standards, and technical drawings.
Experience working with production quality control processes.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of Quality Control and Inspection processes
Understanding of manufacturing quality systems
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
Good communication and coordination with production teams
Documentation and reporting skills
