Job summary

QES Group of companies is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to lead inspection of incoming materials and finished goods in Malaysia. You will work with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions while maintaining ISO documentation and supporting audits.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and exposure to ISO 9001/14001 and ISO 17025.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 2 years QA experience is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001/ISO 14001/ISO 17025 and QC tools; calibration knowledge is an added advantage.
• Excellent quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspection of incoming material and outgoing product.
• Collaborate with departments to resolve quality issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Plan, implement and maintain ISO management system and quality procedures.
• Support internal and external audits and address audit findings.
• Develop SOPs for QA processes.
• Ensure product quality and process control; manage calibration of instruments.
• Any other task as required by supervisor.

Job description

We are global manufacturer of optical inspection, measurement and automated handling equipment. In line with our business expansion, we are seeking a motivated candidate to join us as a Quality Assurance Engineer.

General Responsibilities

Perform daily inspection activities of incoming material and outgoing product.

Work closely with different departments to resolve quality issues, analyze parts failure, perform root cause analysis and define corrective / preventive action.

Plan, implement and maintain the company's ISO management system, quality procedures and documentation in compliance with ISO systems and company standards.

Involve and support company for internal and external audit, liaise with certification bodies, address audit findings and ensure timely closure of corrective actions.

Develop SOP for QA process.

Responsible for product quality and process control.

Manage overall instruments calibration process.

Any other task as required by superior.

Requirements

At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Material / Quality / Electronic/Electrical/Quality) or equivalent.

Candidate with 2 years of working experience in QA is an added advantage.

Candidates with knowledge & experience in ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 / ISO 17025 knowledge and application of quality tool (eg: 7 Basic QC Tools) / Instrument Calibration is an added advantage.

Excellent quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Possess own transport and willing to travel local/outstation if necessary.
