Job summary

Jstar Motion Sdn. Bhd in Kulai, Johor, is seeking a Quality Engineer to oversee incoming, in-process and outgoing quality control across manufacturing processes.

You will plan, implement and sustain IQC, IPQC and OQC programs, and act as the interface for customers and suppliers on quality issues. The role requires hands-on problem solving, good communication and teamwork, and the ability to read and interpret specifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in manufacturing/assembly environment (fresh graduates considered).
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills essential.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement IQC, IPQC, and OQC checks across incoming, in-process, and outgoing quality.
• Inspect finished goods on-site and drive quality improvements.
• Coordinate with engineering and project teams for continuous quality/yield improvements.
• Manage Product Quality Plan and shopfloor traceability.

Job description

We are a multi-national company involved developing, manufacturing and marketing for intelligent and ergonomic products, located in I-park Industrial area, Kulai, Johor. We are looking to hire for QualityEngineer.

You will play an important role in:

Plan, Amend/sustain, Implement IQC (Incoming Quality Control), IPQC (In-Process Quality Control), OQC (Outgoing Quality Control)

Serve as Window for customer service, feedback or complaint and on-site customer finished good inspection. Track finished goods performance and drive for product quality improvement

Serve as Window for vendor's product quality related incident, feedback and complaint. Track incoming materials quality & yield performance and drive vendor for continuous product quality/yield improvement

Set up critical in-process and finished product quality check station. Track its performance and drive engineering and project team for continuous improvement

Manage Product Quality Plan, product identification and traceability at shopfloor

PIC for non-compliance semi and finished product detection, containment sorting/screening and disposition

To succeed in this role, we will need you to have:

Minimum 2 years of working experience in manufacturing or assembly line environment, fresh graduate is also acceptable

Technical incline and sound personality, good trouble shooting skill and solution provider

Good communication and interpersonal skill, good team player

Able to speak, read and write in English/BM, and especially Mandarin language will be an extra advantage
