Job summary

Schlumberger Business Support HUB Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Software Tester to validate business requirements and assess feasibility. You will design test strategies, build test plans, write test cases and develop automated scripts.

The role covers functional and non-functional testing, manual and automated test execution, defect tracking with cross-functional teams, and maintaining quality documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of related testing experience.
• Experience with automated testing tools (DB and UI).
• Experience in web, mobile and performance testing.
• ISTQB/MSTB or equivalent qualifications preferred.
• Strong verbal and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Review and analysis of business requirements, functional and technical specifications for validity and feasibility.
• Develop comprehensive test strategy, test plan, test cases and automated test scripts.
• Functional and non-functional testing.
• Execute manual and/or automated testing on new and existing features with high-quality test data.
• Defect tracking and analysis with cross-functional teams and test reporting.
• Create and maintain test and quality-related documentation.

Job description

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.

Demonstrable involvement insoftwaretesting disciplines,preferably with professional qualifications from MSTB or ISTQB.

Experience withautomatedtesting tools on database as well as user interface level.

Experienceinweb,mobile and performance testing.

Knowledge ofqualitystrategy, processand tools are advantageous.

Working knowledge of Java, XML and various types of operating systems: Unix, Windows, Linux, etc is advantageous.

Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills with strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Detail-oriented, positive attitude and self-motivated.

Possess strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Ableto work under pressure and tight deadlines; at least 2-3 years experiences in related field.
