Job summary

Hong Leong Assurance is seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer with hands-on software testing experience. You will design, implement and execute test plans that ensure reliability, performance and stability across products.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality releases. You will also maintain automation scripts and participate in code reviews to improve testability, while advocating QA standards throughout the process.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, developing, and executing manual and automated test cases from requirements.
• Proficient in identifying, documenting and tracking defects using issue trackers.
• Collaborates with developers and product managers to understand features and implement tests.
• Performs regression, integration, system and performance testing.
• Maintains and enhances test automation frameworks and scripts.
• Participates in code reviews to improve testability and quality.
• Ensures QA standards and best practices are followed.
• Experience in mobile app testing (iOS/Android).

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and stability of our software products through rigorous testing and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases based on product requirements and specifications.

Identify, document, and track bugs using issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).

Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand features and technical implementation.

Perform regression, integration, system, and performance testing.

Maintain and improve test automation frameworks and scripts.

Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.

Ensure compliance with QA standards and best practices.

Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and tools.
