Job summary

Redring Solder (M) Sdn Bhd, a respected manufacturer in Selangor, is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to uphold our quality standards across manufacturing and logistics. You will develop and maintain QA procedures, perform inspections, and drive continuous improvement.

The role requires a engineering-related degree and 3–5 years' QA experience in manufacturing or logistics, knowledge of ISO 9001, Six Sigma, and strong data analysis. English and Bahasa Malaysia proficiency preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in quality assurance in manufacturing or logistics environments.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 or equivalent standards.
• Six Sigma, root cause analysis and statistical process control.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in quality management software and data analysis tools.
• Fluent in English; Bahasa Malaysia proficiency preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
• CQE or ASQ certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain QA procedures across manufacturing and logistics.
• Conduct inspections and testing of products and materials to meet established quality standards.
• Document and analyse quality data, identifying trends and root causes of defects or non-conformances.
• Collaborate with production and logistics teams to investigate quality issues and implement CAPA.
• Prepare and maintain detailed quality reports, audit records and compliance documentation.
• Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to quality management systems and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to process optimisation projects.
• Liaise with suppliers and external stakeholders to resolve quality-related concerns.
• Train and support team members on quality standards and best practices.
• Monitor equipment calibration and ensure testing instruments remain within acceptable tolerances.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
• Relevant certifications such as CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) or ASQ certification are preferred.
