Mas Awana Services Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Quality Assurance/Quality Control professional to uphold food safety and regulatory compliance across our operations.
The role focuses on inspections, audits, CAPA, and collaboration with Operations, Kitchen and Procurement to maintain HACCP, GMP and SOPs. Strong analytical skills, ISO knowledge, and experience with QA tools are preferred; the candidate will train staff and support external audits.

Conduct routine inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Monitor food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and quality control practices across operations.
Perform internal audits and prepare audit reports with recommendations for improvement.
Investigate quality issues, customer complaints, and non-conformities, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, SOPs, and other applicable food safety standards.
Review quality records, documentation, and reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Coordinate product testing, sampling, and quality verification activities.
Provide quality and food safety training to employees to enhance compliance and awareness.
Monitor corrective actions and verify their effectiveness.
Work closely with Operations, Kitchen, Procurement, and other departments to maintain quality standards.
Support external audits, inspections, and certification processes.
Maintain proper documentation and records in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Head of Department or Management.
A relevant qualification or certification in Quality Assurance, Quality Management, or a related Science and Technology discipline
Proven experience of at least 2-3 years working in Quality Assurance or Quality Control within a technology or science-based environment
Strong knowledge of quality management systems, ISO standards and industry-specific compliance requirements
Proficiency in using quality assurance tools, testing software and data analysis applications
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify and document quality issues accurately
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to investigate quality concerns and implement effective solutions
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to document findings and present to stakeholders
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Meticulous organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple quality assurance activities simultaneously
Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies and root cause analysis techniques
Preferred experience with automated testing tools, test management platforms or quality management software

Currently we occupy two units of a three-storey building which has been converted into a CPU, located in a light industrial area in Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi, Sepang about five kilometers from KLIA and Putrajaya. We have one of the most advanced state-of-the-art Central Production Kitchens (CPU) within the Klang Valley with an estimated line production capacity of circa. 10,000 packed food per day. Plans are under way to acquire the adjacent lots for immediate expansion in view of increasing our production capacity to 20,000 packed food per day.
