Ocean Kinabalu Sdn Bhd in Sabah is seeking a QHSE Executive to support project and operational activities, focusing on HSSE compliance and mobilisation.
You will guide project teams on HSSE and legal requirements, organise trainings and briefings, prepare reports, and maintain training and medical records for mobilisation. Travel to onshore/offshore sites may be required.
Candidates should have an OSH degree and OSH-C, CIDB registration, and strong communication skills.
We are looking for a QHSE Executive to support our project and operational activities, with a focus on HSSE compliance, personnel mobilisation, documentation and client requirements.
Key responsibilities
Support the Project Management Team in ensuring smooth and safe project operations.
Provide guidance to the project team on HSSE requirements, legal requirements and client requirements.
Organise and conduct HSSE briefings, pre-mobilisation briefings, training, campaigns, drills and safety activities.
Prepare HSSE reports, statistics, man-hours, presentations and other project-related reports.
Maintain and update personnel training, competency and medical records to ensure they remain valid for mobilisation.
Manage PPE requests, stock, inventory, issuance and records.
Conduct workplace, emergency equipment and vehicle inspections as required.
Coordinate personnel mobilisation and demobilisation, including required entry passes, medicals, training and supporting documentation.
Monitor OSP/CCC, TrackIT and other mandatory requirements for personnel and subcontractors prior to mobilisation.
Assist with incident and non-conformity investigations and follow up on corrective actions.
Qualification
Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field.
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
Valid DOSH Occupational Safety and Health Coordinator (OSH-C) certification.
Valid CIDB registration/card.
Good knowledge of OSHA, HSE requirements and safety compliance.
Experience in HSE documentation, inspections, audits and reporting.
Good communication, writing and presentation skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
Willing to travel and support onshore/offshore site activities when required.
