Job summary

SUS ENVIRONMENT in Malaysia is seeking an on-site Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) professional to uphold workplace safety standards and ensure compliance during construction and infrastructure projects in Port Dickson.

You will conduct daily site inspections, lead toolbox talks, coordinate inductions, and record near-misses and incidents while maintaining comprehensive HSE records.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in construction, infrastructure, or industrial project HSE roles.
• Experience in power generation or waste-to-energy projects is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site inspections to identify unsafe acts and conditions and follow up on corrective actions.
• Coordinate and deliver site inductions and toolbox talks for site personnel.
• Record and investigate near-misses, accidents, and injuries; prepare incident reports.

This is a Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) role focused on maintaining workplace safety standards, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety requirements on site.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily site inspections to identify unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and environmental non-conformances; issue observation reports and follow up on corrective actions until closure.
• Coordinate and deliver site induction training for new workers; organize toolbox talks and periodic safety briefings for site personnel.
• Assist in recording and investigating near-misses, accidents, and occupational injuries; prepare initial investigation reports and maintain incident logs.
• Maintain HSE records, including inspection logs, training attendance sheets, equipment inspection certificates, and safety meeting minutes.

About you

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in construction, infrastructure, or industrial project HSE roles.
