Job summary

Lam Soon Edible Oils Sdn Bhd is seeking a quality control professional to ensure product quality throughout manufacturing. The role covers QC inspections, material and finished goods checks, and adherence to GMP/GDP/GLP standards.

Responsibilities include documenting QC records, supporting production schedules, and driving quality improvement initiatives. The candidate should have a diploma/certificate in a related field, 1+ year QA/QC experience, and be willing to work in Teluk Panglima Garang,

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate holder; those with science background or related field will be advantageous.
• At least 1 year of working experience in QA/QC or laboratory, preferably manufacturing industry.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Self-motivated with analytical skills.
• Computer literacy: Microsoft Office (Words and Excel).
• Able to work on shift rotation.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Telok Panglima Garang, Selangor.

Responsibilities

• To implement quality control for products manufacturing by the organization, and to maintain/ensure the quality of the products during manufacturing process to meet customer's requirements.
• Carry out routine QC inspections and ensure products meet specifications.
• Inspect incoming raw materials and packaging before release for production use.
• Conduct finished goods inspections and maintain QC records.
• Support production line, raw material store, and delivery store according to schedule.
• Follow GMP, GDP & GLP rules and ensure occupational health and safety standards.
• Assist in quality improvement projects and document control.

Job description

To implement quality control for products manufacturing by the organization, and to maintain/ensure the quality of the products during manufacturing process to meet customer's requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES :

1. Product Quality

To put efforts in achieving company goals/targets as per timeline provided

To highlight / inform superior on any non-conformance materials and products & any abnormalities in the plant immediately

Assist in quality improvement project

Carry out routine quality inspection on-line to ensure WIPs are within required specification, e.g. visual and measurement inspection

To inspect incoming raw material and packaging materials before release for production usage

Carry out inspection on finished goods

Maintain all quality documents and records

Conducting tests, analyzing measurements, and overseeing production processes

To control, file & take care all QC inspection forms

To follow production schedule by supporting operation in production line, raw material warehouse and delivery store

2. People Management & Development

To attend trainings and to improve competency.

3. Quality System

To befully proactive & aware of occupational health and safety standards at workplace, ensure full compliance and also safeguarding oneself, colleagues, and the Company from any detrimental incidents.

To follow and guide workers to follow the GMP, GDP & GLP rules.

4. Others

Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by superior from time to time.
