Job summary

Lam Soon Edible Oils Sdn Bhd in Malaysia invites an IT Project Manager or Assistant Manager to lead strategic initiatives from inception to completion, ensuring scope, budget, and timeline align with business evolution.

You will manage multi-vendor projects in FMCG/ manufacturing, requiring 5–10 years experience, a IT/CS degree, PMP/PRINCE2/ACP preferred, and mastery of MS Project and Office. This hands-on role emphasizes cross-functional leadership and clear stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of industry experience delivering large, complex projects (Supply Chain, FMCG or Manufacturing).
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Studies, or related field.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or ACP certifications are highly preferred.
• Mastery of MS Project and the Office Suite, with modern project methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire project lifecycle from initiation to closing to ensure on-time delivery under budget.

Who You Are

You are a "hands-on" leader. You don't just delegate; you dive into the details to resolve complex situations. You possess:

A Proven Track Record: At least 5–10 years of industry experience with a solid history of delivering large, complex projects (best to specifically in Supply Chain, FMCG or Manufacturing).

Technical Credibility: A Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Studies, or a related field.

Certified Excellence: PMP, PRINCE2, or ACP certifications are highly preferred.

The Toolkit: Mastery of MS Project and the Office Suite, combined with a deep understanding of modern project methodologies.
