Job summary

LOCAL ASSEMBLY SDN. BHD. (LA) based in Gelang Patah, Johor, seeks a Quality Inspector to conduct in-process and final inspections, verify product dimensions and appearance, and report defects to the QA team.

The role emphasizes precise measurement, adherence to QMS, and collaboration with Production and Engineering to prevent defects. The candidate should have at least a diploma or certificate in quality control and 1 year of relevant experience; familiarity with IPQC and OQC is a plus, and 5S

Qualifications

Minimum SPM/STPM, Certificate, or Diploma in Quality Control, Manufacturing, or a related field.
At least 1 year of working experience in quality inspection.
Experience in IPQC and OQC is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

Perform in-process and final inspections according to quality standards and customer specs.
Verify dimensions, appearance and functionality with appropriate inspection methods.
Record, report, and label defective or non-conforming products to QA team.
Maintain accurate inspection records and quality reports; document results per procedures.
Operate measuring instruments and ensure calibration validity of tools.
Support 5S and housekeeping in the inspection area; assist continuous improvement.
