Job summary

SF Metal Sdn Bhd in Penang, Malaysia, is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to perform incoming, in-process, and outgoing inspections of sheet metal and CNC parts, interpreting drawings and ensuring products meet exacting specifications.

You will develop and run CMM programs with PC‑DMIS, monitor almost all manufactured items, and generate detailed inspection and nonconformance reports; accurate inspection records will be entered on time.

Qualifications

• Inspect incoming, in-process, and outgoing parts to ensure conformance.
• Interpret mechanical drawings to identify inspection requirements.
• Prepare and generate detailed inspection reports and nonconformance notices.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and outgoing inspections for sheet metal and CNC parts.
• Develop and run CMM programs using PC‑DMIS software.
• Produce accurate inspection documentation and nonconformance reports.
• Ensure inspection activities comply with quality standards and customer requirements.

Job description

Perform incoming, in-process, and outgoing inspections for sheet metal and CNC parts.

Conduct dimensional and visual inspections using measuring equipment such as CMM, VMM, digital calipers, height gauges, micrometers, etc.

Interpret and understand mechanical/engineering drawings to identify inspection requirements.

Develop and run CMM programs using PC-DMIS software.

Monitor nearly all manufactured products to ensure that they meet specified standards.

Inspection includes but is not limited to:

Raw materials, components, fabricated/manufactured parts & assemblies.

Measures raw materials /components and/or assemblies.

Generates detail inspection and nonconformance reports as necessary.

Prepare and key in inspection reports accurately and on time.

Ensure inspection activities comply with company quality standards and customer requirements.
