Qualifications

• Familiarity with ISO 9001/ISO 14001 or HVAC standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and testing of HVAC products at various stages of manufacturing to ensure quality standards.
• Develop and implement QC procedures, testing protocols, and inspection checklists.
• Document and analyse quality data, identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Investigate quality issues and determine root causes with corrective actions.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
• Perform statistical analysis and maintain quality records and documentation.
• Conduct regular audits of manufacturing processes and quality systems.
• Ensure products meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Train production staff on quality procedures and best practices.
• Maintain calibration schedules for testing equipment and instruments.

About the role

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented QC Engineer to join our quality assurance and control team in Shah Alam, Selangor. Key responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and testing of HVAC products at various stages of the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
• Develop and implement quality control procedures, testing protocols, and inspection checklists
• Document and analyse quality data, identifying trends and areas for improvement
• Investigate quality issues and non-conformances, determining root causes and recommending corrective actions
• Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence
• Perform statistical analysis and maintain quality records, reports, and documentation
• Conduct regular audits of manufacturing processes and quality systems
• Ensure all products meet relevant industry standards, codes, and regulatory requirements
• Train and guide production staff on quality procedures and best practices
• Maintain calibration schedules for testing equipment and measuring instruments

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline
• Proven experience as a QC Engineer or in a similar quality assurance role within the manufacturing or HVAC industry
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, quality control methodologies, and statistical analysis tools
• Familiarity with international quality standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or relevant HVAC industry standards
• Proficiency in using quality control testing equipment and software
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across teams
• Knowledge of HVAC products, components, and manufacturing processes is advantageous
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management software
