Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a QA/QC-oriented candidate to perform inspection and testing of incoming materials and products to ensure adherence to HACCP & GMP standards. The role involves documenting results clearly and promptly, and communicating non-conformances for corrective actions.

The ideal candidate possesses SPM/ Diploma in Food Technology or related fields, with fluency in English and Malay, and is willing to work in Petaling Jaya. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a SPM Certificate, Diploma, Food Technology, Food Science, Halal Management or equivalent.
• No experience required and fresh graduates looking to grow with us is highly encouraged to apply.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Petaling Jaya.
• Fluent in English and Malay (Verbal and Written)

Responsibilities

• To carry out all physical inspection, visual inspection, odor test, etc. on incoming raw material, processing samples and product with the objective of checking their quality and conformance to specification.
• Compile and updating recording of all results clearly, timely and properly for ease of reference when requested. As per HACCP & GMP company policy and compliance.
• Highlight immediately to related personnel on any non-conformance of specification or abnormalities for corrective actions.
• General preparation of chemicals and equipment for analysis when required
• Maintain the cleanliness, hygiene and tidiness of overall compliance to HACCP & GMP.
• To keep track on chemical stock and glassware, and highlight to superior to prevent event of inadequacy.
• Upkeep documentation and equipment.
• Ensure workplace’s health and safety requirements comply with building and stock security.
• Perform any interdepartmental transfer or ad hoc basis as and when instructed by superior.
• Performs other duties as assigned by superior from time to time.
