Job summary

Diploma in Engineering, Construction, Logistics or related discipline; 3–5 years experience in construction material control or QA/QC; strong MS Excel skills and documentation knowledge are required to ensure

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering, Construction, Logistics or related discipline.
• 3–5 years experience in construction material control or QA/QC.
• Familiar with DO, TDS, material submittals, drawings, MIR and inspection procedures.
• Strong knowledge of material traceability and inventory control.
• Excellent coordination and MS Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Logistics team for incoming material deliveries.
• Receive and inspect materials against DO, approved TDS, material submittals, drawings and project specifications.
• Verify quantity, model, size, specification, physical condition and supporting certificates/documents.
• Identify, record and report damaged, incorrect or non-conforming materials and coordinate with QA/QC for action.
• Manage proper storage, identification, preservation and traceability of materials.
• Control and maintain accurate records for material IN/OUT, issuance, transfer and returns.
• Prepare material receiving, inspection and inventory records/reports.
• Coordinate with Site, QA/QC, Logistics and Project teams to ensure material availability and compliance.

The successful candidate will ensure all delivered materials comply with approved project requirements before release for site use.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Logistics team for incoming material deliveries.
• Receive and inspect materials against Delivery Order (DO), approved TDS, material submittals, drawings and project specifications.
• Verify quantity, model, size, specification, physical condition and supporting certificates/documents.
• Identify, record and report damaged, incorrect or non-conforming materials and coordinate with the QA/QC team for necessary action.
• Manage proper storage, identification, preservation and traceability of materials.
• Control and maintain accurate records for material IN/OUT, issuance, transfer and returns.
• Prepare material receiving, inspection and inventory records/reports.
• Coordinate closely with Site, QA/QC, Logistics and Project teams to ensure material availability and compliance.

About you

• Diploma in Engineering, Construction, Logistics or related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years experience in construction material control, QA/QC or warehouse/store supervision.
• Familiar with DO, TDS, material submittals, drawings, MIR and material inspection procedures.
• Good knowledge of material traceability, inventory control and documentation.
• Strong coordination, communication and MS Excel skills.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced construction project environment.
