Job summary

KMU INTERNATIONAL HOLDING SDN BHD is seeking a Quality Assurance and Control Manager to lead the QMS audits, ensure statutory compliance, and drive continual improvement across projects.

You will manage an audit team, coordinate with project managers and heads of department, and develop training to strengthen internal controls, risk management, and process reliability. The role requires strategic thinking, independence, and the ability to deliver timely corrective actions.

• Lead internal and external audits on behalf of management.
• Develop and monitor compliance with internal control requirements.
• Train and coach audit team members.

Job description

Implementing and reviewing the Company's Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with relevant statutory requirements.

Act as QMS Management Representative to perform all internal and external audits on behalf of companies' management.

Works with QMS & OHS team to develop, implement, monitor and manage the company's compliance with internal control requirements.

Ensure that corrective/ preventive actions requirements are fulfilled on a timely basis.

Spearheading any continual improvement initiatives to improve process and project quality.

Liaise and coordinate with all Project Manager/ HODs to facilitate and resolve any quality related complaints on process and system.

Manage portfolio of clients, job scheduling and planning to meet audit deadlines.

Leading, managing and developing an effective audit team.

Leading audit team to audit current controls and performance monitoring elements to assess effectiveness.

Interact with various levels of management and staff in conducting interviews and testing internal process.

Audits/tests ongoing processes to assure continued compliance.

Analyze adequacy, reliability and compliance of internal control systems.

Prepares report(s) based on the results of stated audits/tests to be presented and shared with top management.

Ensure that all audit records and documentation are accurate and in compliance with applicable regulations.

Ability to work independently and render all aspects of audit duties & functions.

To provide training and coaching to audit team members.

Think strategically about clients' needs by understanding their business and key risks.

Develop strong relationships across a network of existing and future clients and deliver added values.
