Job summary

Dhaya Maju Infrastructure (Asia) Sdn Berhad is seeking a Quality Assurance and Control Manager to lead the QA/QC team and ensure adherence to the Quality Management System across railway projects. The role involves managing audits, controlling documentation, and ensuring compliance with ISO standards and project requirements.

The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years in site construction and railway QA/QC, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency in English and Bahasa Melayu,

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–10 years of site construction and railway project QA/QC experience.
• Strong knowledge of engineering standards and ISO documentation.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Melayu.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the QA/QC team to meet project quality requirements.
• Prepare and control the QA manual and all amendments.
• Coordinate QA activities with site QC manager and attend meetings.
• Perform internal and external audits and verify contractor quality subcontractors.
• Monitor non-conformance disposition and implement improvements.
• Ensure compliance with OSH and safety policies.
• Travel as required and review qualifications of QA staff.

Job description

Lead and manage the QA / QC team and expertise to the overall Quality Management System, policies and standards to support proper and smooth execution of all Quality related activities in meeting the specified standards and requirements.

Key responsibilities

Prepare the companies QA manual control and supervise all amendments and revisions.

Control and distribute all the company's quality documentation.

Monitor all quality related activities on the project.

Perform all internal and external audits on behalf of the company's management.

Verify contractor quality requirements are specified to vendors and contractor documentations submittals.

Attend all pre-bid meetings and coordinate all project requirements with the project bidders.

Attend client quality management meetings.

Prepare and control the project quality system management documentation prior to project commencement.

Review quality inspection personnel qualifications and training requirements.

Monitor disposition of all issued non-conformance reports.

Monitor the progress and effectiveness of the project quality management system. Recommend and implement improvements when required.

Coordinate all QA / QC activities with the site QC manager.

To take reasonable care for the Health, Safety, Environmental and Welfare as per the Occupational Safety & Health Act, company policy and OSH Management System

Qualification

Minimum 5-10 years of working experience in site construction and railway project management

Knowledge and skill in understanding engineering standard practice, good in technical and report skills

Excellent leadership, analytical, problem solving, presentation skills, communication skills and a team player

Proficient in English and Bahasa Melayu with good writing skills

Able to lead and monitor a team of site staff

Proficient of Microsoft Project Management programme, Microsoft Office, CAD is an advantage

Well versed with ISO documentation & term

Must be willing to travel and possess own transport

Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree, Engineering (Civil), Architecture or any other qualifications related

Should have worked on double track projects before
