Job summary

EVD Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking a QA/QC Coordinator/Engineer to support the Quality Management System on site, reporting to the QA/QC Manager.

You will perform quality checks, conduct site surveillance, prepare QA/QC documentation and audits, and train staff. Fresh graduates or 1 year of experience are welcome; a Bachelor’s in science or engineering is required, with ISO 9001:2015 QMS experience and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates or 1 year of working experience in QA/QC preferable in project environment.
• Bachelor's degree in science or related engineering field.
• Possess ISO 9001:2015 QMS implementation and IQA experience.
• Ability to work independently with less supervision.
• High self-motivation, integrity and good discipline.
• Good interpersonal, problem solving, communication and supervision skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out quality checking for all quality related procedures.
• Conduct regular Site Surveillance to check the works on site are moving as per drawing, as per material approved, as per method statement and as per quality control procedure.
• Assist and/or conduct inspections and QC plans from assembly work until site implementation.
• Monitor and record for all project quality objectives.
• Assist and/or prepare the QA/QC reports and documentation.
• Prepare and execute internal quality audits.
• Assist and/or conduct follow-up meetings to handle audit related issues such as observations and closure of NCRs including investigation of root causes and effectiveness of measures taken.
• Resolve any quality issues that may arise at the site in consultation with superior.
• Train QA/QC staffs for their daily routine inspections.
• Assists in the preparation of the QA/QC reports and documentation.
• Perform any other duty & responsibility which the superior or the company may assign from time to time.

Job description
