Job summary

Khean Seng Engineering Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a QA/QC professional with 3–5 years of building construction experience. duties include resolving site issues, coordinating with clients and teams, maintaining documentation, and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and QMS standards.

The role requires strong problem-solving and communication skills, with daily reporting to management and active participation in project planning and execution on site in Malaysia. A relevant engineering degree is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality or a related discipline.
• 3-5 years of QA/QC experience in building construction projects.
• Construction experience is a plus.
• Familiar with ISO 9001, QMS and relevant construction quality standards.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Resolving all technical and site issues.
• Attend site meetings and prepare meeting reports.
• Prepare all documents related to project and other ad-hoc duties.
• Perform related duties as assigned by management.
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
• Report and escalate to management as needed.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Assist to manage and report to the Project Manager on day-to-day planning and implementation.
• Review design and specification proposals to meet client and authorities' requirements.
• Prepare and maintain progress reports and other project documents.
• Coordinate with clients, project teams, contractors and stakeholders to ensure goals are met.
• Provide technical support and timely issue resolution.
• Participation in ISO is compulsory.
• Record site issues daily and handle related paperwork.
• Update daily progress to HQ via WhatsApp.
• Attend subcontractor coordination meetings.

Job description

1. Resolving all technical and site issues.

2. To attend site meetings as well as preparation of meeting report.

3. To handle and prepare all documents relates to project with ad-hoc duties given by the Managing Director or General Manager as and when needed.

4. Perform related duties as assigned.

5. Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.

6. Report and escalat to management as needed.

7. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

8. Assist to manage and report to the Project Manager / Management on day-to-day project planning & implementation, and all other technical aspects of assigned projects.

9. Review design and specification proposals to comply with client's need statements and other applicable authorities' requirements and policies.

10. Prepare and maintain accurately progress reports and other project documents.

11. Liaise and coordinate with clients, project teams, contractors, and other stakeholders on all matters regarding implementation of assigned projects to ensure goals are met.

12. Help and technical support including identifying and resolving issues and problems timely.

13. Participation in ISO is compulsory.

14. Recording site issue daily and handle all the related paper work.

15. Update daily progress to HQ via Whats-app communication from time to time.

16. Attend subcon coordinationmeeting.

Requirements:
