Job summary

KLANGGROUP is seeking a Quality Assurance and Control Engineer to monitor construction QAQC activities across projects. The role requires ensuring compliance with approved drawings and quality standards, attending site inspections, and preparing detailed reporting.

Fresh graduates are welcome, with familiarity in QLASSIC and ISO 9001 standards valued. The successful candidate will work within a leading property developer in Malaysia, contributing to industrial, commercial, and residential

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in construction QAQC or related field; fresh graduates welcome.
• Self-motivated with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Familiarity with QLASSIC, ISO 9001 standards, and relevant project codes/specifications.

Responsibilities

• Monitor construction work to ensure compliance with approved drawings and quality standards.
• Attend site inspections to verify structural, architectural, and MEP works meet quality standards.
• Inspect on-site materials for adherence to project specs and submittals.
• Prepare detailed quality inspection reports after site visits.
• Participate in quality meetings and present findings to stakeholders.
• Conduct Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) and generate PDI reports.
• Prepare Quality Assessment Reports per the QLASSIC standard.
• Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and monitor rectifications.
• Review MOS to ensure activities follow approved methodologies.
• Attend site meetings to coordinate quality assurance activities.
• Other duties as assigned by Management.

Responsibilities

Monitor construction work to ensure compliance with approved construction drawings and quality standards.

Attend site inspections to verify that structural, architectural, and MEP works meet required quality standards.

Inspect on-site materials to confirm adherence to project specifications and approved submittals.

Prepare detailed quality inspection reports following site visits.

Participate in quality meetings and present findings to relevant stakeholders.

Conduct Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) and generate comprehensive PDI reports.

Prepare Quality Assessment Reports in accordance with the QLASSIC standard.

Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and monitor rectification works to resolve quality issues.

Review Method of Statement (MOS) to ensure construction activities follow approved methodologies.

Attend site meetings as required to coordinate quality assurance activities.

Other duties and assignments are to be assigned by the Management as and when necessary.

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent.

Experienced in construction QAQC or other related field and fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Self-motivated, good interpersonal & communication skill.

Familiar with QLASSIC, ISO 9001 standards, and relevant project codes / specifications.
