Job summary

Private Advertiser seeks a seasoned QA/QC Manager to oversee quality systems for roads and infrastructure projects. You will manage QA/QC programs on site offices, conduct internal audits, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.

Collaboration with project engineers and consultants is essential to define inspection procedures and testing protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related fields.
• Minimum 10 years of strong work experience with roads and infrastructure projects.
• Minimum 10 years and above of working experience in construction field.
• Positive attitude, initiative, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work under pressure, tight schedules and stringent environments.
• Slope, road and bridge experience preferably with JKR project.
• Experience with JKR projects is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage and control QAQC according to Inspection Test Plan and Project Quality Plan.
• Verify implementation and operation of quality assurance and control systems by planning and conducting internal quality audits and inspection activities on site offices.
• Ensure implementation and continuous improvement in overall Quality Systems.
• Ensure compliance with all contractual, company and local authority requirements for Quality, Health, Safety and Environment.
• Plan and control project QAQC works.
• Collaborate with project engineers and design consultants to establish procedures with time limits for inspection, sampling and testing of works.
• Liaise with end users, customers, suppliers, and subcontractors for QAQC related issues.
• Report and rectify QA findings and conduct formal site QA/QC inspections.
• Review subcontractor documents such as Project Quality Plan, Method Statements, and KPIs.
• Audit Project Quality Plan, QA/QC Procedures, and site activities, submitting reports to the client.
