Job summary

TELADAN SETIA SDN. BHD. is seeking a QA/QC professional to lead inspection and test activities, ensure adherence to quality standards, and coordinate audits across multiple project sites. The role requires strong Civil Engineering background and ability to liaise with clients, contractors, and project managers.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 10 years related working experience in construction is an added advantage.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Able to liaise with project managers, clients and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Develop and determine standards to perform inspections and tests on all procedures.
• Oversee testing methods and maintain high-quality standards for all processes.
• Manage and monitor quality assurance processes and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist project staff to ensure knowledge of quality standards and procedures.
• Coordinate QA/QC audits and site inspections with contractors and suppliers.
• Lead quality improvement projects to simplify QA/QC processes.
• Participate in internal and external site audits.
• Plan, coordinate and assess internal quality audits of the Quality System.
• Execute inspection and test requirements according to Company Standard Procedures.
• Conduct Quality Awareness briefings and facilitate QA/QC training.
• Handle buyer complaints and feedback with timely corrective actions.
• Oversee pre-VP and VP handling via digitised solutions.

Education

Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering

Job description

Develop and determine all standards to perform inspections and tests on all procedures, oversee all testing methods, and maintain high-quality standards for all processes

Manage all work methods, maintain knowledge on quality assurance standards, monitor continuous application for all quality assurance processes, and recommend corrective actions for all operations

Assist project staffs to ensure knowledge of all quality standards, compliance to all quality manuals and procedures, and collaborate with contractors and suppliers to maintain the quality of all systems

Supervise the effective implementation of all test and inspection schedules, ensure adherence to all procedures, and coordinate with various teams to perform quality audits on processes

Lead the implementation of quality improvement projects to simplify processes within QA/QC team

Participate in the site internal and external audits

Plan, coordinate, organise, administer, and assess internal quality audits of the Quality System to assure standard compliance

Plan and execute inspection and test requirement according to Company Standard Procedures and Specifications

Conduct Quality Awareness briefing timely and facilitate training on QA/QC topics

Handle buyer complaints and feedback effectively and take corrective measures within an agreed deadline

Pre-VP and VP Handling OVer using Digitalised Solutions

Any other duties assigned from time to time

About you

Possess at least Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent

10 years related working experience at construction industry is an added advantage

Good interpersonal and communication skills

Self-motivated person and able to work independently

Able to liaise with project managers, clients, contractors

Willing to work at multiple location or sites
