Job summary

Oliver James Associates Limited in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a QA Tester to develop comprehensive test plans from project requirements and execute manual tests to validate software quality.

You will document, track, and communicate defects to the development team for timely resolution, collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback.

Qualifications

• 2 years of testing experience, ideally within the financial services or insurance industry.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and experience in manual testing.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in JIRA, Microsoft Excel and SQL will be added advantage.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
