Job summary

Demand Options Sdn Bhd seeks an Inspector to conduct both measurement and visual inspections of products from various inputs. You will inspect at multiple production stages to ensure compliance with quality and workmanship standards.

You will work with internal teams to coordinate process prints and procedures, endorse accept/reject decisions, and maintain complete documentation. The role requires independent work and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/ SPM or equivalent.
• Preferably 1 ~ 2 years working experience in similar industry.
• Able to Speak and Write in English.
• Ability to handle computer is an added advantage.
• Good and readable handwriting.
• Good Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
• Ability to work independently, follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Conducts inspection for measurement and visual checks on products from various inputs.
• Inspections at various production stages to ensure compliance with quality, production, and workmanship standards.
• Collaborate with internal personnel to coordinate compliance to standards and workflows through in-process inspection steps.
• Endorse whether part is accepted or rejected; escalate any contested results.
• Follow procedures/work instructions; highlight missing content in product files (customer drawing, process print, CIP, quality data).
• Create one master sample for all new programs.
• Record full data per FA inspection report or customer drawing for raw data & check sheets.
• Ensure forms/checklists are fully completed without empty columns.
• Perform document control and filing to relevant procedures.
• Update soft-copy reports (department performance, efficiency, NCMR, sorting & rework, master sample).
• Maintain that measuring equipment are in good condition and report any out-of-order unit.
• Maintain 5S and safety housekeeping in the department.
• Perform any job as required by management and procedural documentation.

Job description

• Conducts inspection both for measurement & visual for product from various inputs. The inspection is limited to full measurement according to process print and customer drawing.
• These inspections are conducted at various stages of production to ensure compliance with quality, production, and workmanship standards.
• Inspectors will work closely with all relevant internal personnel coordinating compliance to established standards and work flow through in-process (process print) inspection steps.
• Endorse whether part is accepted and rejected. Escalates to superior any result that is being questioned by other department.
• Carry out inspections according to relevant procedures/work instructions, highlight any product file with missing content such as customer drawing, process print, CIP, quality data among others.
• Assign and create one master sample for all new program.
• Records the full data according to FA inspection report or use customer drawing for raw data & check sheets.
• Ensures that the form or check list is being filled up completely without keeping any single column empty.
• Perform document control and filing to relevant procedures.
• Updates softcopy reports such as department performance report, efficiency report, NCMR, sorting & rework form, master sample among others.
• Make sure that all measuring equipment are in good condition and reports to superior for any out of order unit.
• Maintains compliance to Company policies and work rules, safety standards and good housekeeping practices. Maintains 5S standards as they relate to housekeeping in the department.
• To perform any job when necessary as per required by management and documented procedure.
