Job summary

New Idea in Malaysia seeks a Quality Assurance/Quality Control inspector to oversee outbound product quality. You will read mechanical drawings, perform visual inspections, and verify dimensions using measuring equipment to ensure conformance to specifications.

The role requires coordinating with subcontractors and vendors to resolve non-conformances. You will prepare QA reports and FAIR submissions for customers, while adhering to SOPs and IPQA/OQA/IQA formats.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular quality assessment on all outgoing products for shipping.
• Reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations.
• Inspect and measure product dimensions, examine functionality, compare final product to specifications and oversee production process.
• Prepare QA reports for outgoing shipments.
• Perform tasks per the part inspection standard.
• Inspect quality-related activities at site/production.
• Coordinate quality inspection with subcontractors and vendors.
• Control non-conformance reports and undertake remedial actions.
• Prepare and submit FAIR to customer.
• Perform VMM reports.

• PERFORM REGULAR QUALITY ASSESSMENT ON ALL OUTGOING PRODUCTS FOR SHIPPING.
• REJECT ALL PRODUCTS AND MATERIAL THAT FAIL TO MEET QUALITY EXPECTATIONS.
• INSPECT & MEASURE PRODUCT DIMENSIONS, EXAMINE FUCTIONALITY, COMPARE THE FINAL PRODUCT TO THE SPECIFICATION AND OVERSEEING PRODUCTION PROCESS.
