HICOM-Teck See is seeking a quality inspector to perform startup inspections, sampling checks, and quarantine of nonconforming parts in a manufacturing setting. The role requires basic measurement tools and adherence to quality procedures, with shift work and long hours as expected.

The candidate should have at least 1 year of relevant experience, a SPM qualification with Mathematics, and the ability to read basic technical drawings. Good eyesight and no color vision deficiency are required.

• SPM qualification with a pass in Mathematics.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in quality checking within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and understand basic technical drawings is an added advantage.
• Able to work shifts and long hours.
• Must not be colour-blind.
• Good eyesight is required; basic inspection tools include micrometers and calipers.

Responsabilidades

• Perform startup inspection and testing, sampling inspection at defined interval frequency.
• Prepare the first piece production sample.
• Hold back and quarantine nonconforming parts identified through part inspection process.
• Perform sorting or rework at customer premises as requested by his/her superior.
• Prepare and update daily and weekly rejection report.
• Maintain good housekeeping in his/her work area.

Requirements

A. Education

Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent, with a pass in Mathematics.

B. Experience (Years)

Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in quality checking within a manufacturing environment.

Able to use basic inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, etc.

C. Special Requirements (Knowledge / Training)

Able to work shifts and long hours.

Good eyesight required.

Must not be colour-blind.

Ability to read and understand basic technical drawings will be an added advantage.
