Job summary

Amphenol TCS (M) Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to maintain product quality in a 12-hour shift manufacturing environment. Diploma holders with QC measurement skills are invited to apply; GD&T knowledge is a plus.

On-site at Bukit Minyak facilities operating 7am–7pm and 7pm–7am shifts. You will prepare and extend work instructions, assist the QA Leader, conduct FAI inspections for NP I components and tooling, approve samples, and support QA analysis.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of QC measuring equipment is expected.
• GD&T knowledge is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and extend existing working instructions for incoming and OGP.
• Assist incoming QA Leader when the leader is not around.
• Conduct measurement FAI inspection for NP I components and tooling changes.
• Buyoff incoming samples FPIR dimension and other defined critical dimension.
• Assist Quality Engineer in analysis and problem solving.
• Handle other tasks as requested by superior.

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.

Know how to use QC measuring equipment.

Understand GD&T knowledge and ability to interpret engineering drawing are added advantage.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Able to work shift 12 hours (7am-7pm/ 7pm-7am).

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and extend of existing working instruction for incoming and OGP.
• Assist incoming QA Leader in occasion whereby leader not around.
• Conduct measurement FAI inspection for NPI component, new tooling, transferred tool, new supplier or any changes in supplier tooling.
• Buyoff incoming samples FPIR dimension and other defined critical dimension.
• Assist Quality Engineer in analysis and problem solving.
• To handle other tasks when requested by superior.
