Job summary

Power Root in Malaysia is seeking a detail-oriented quality control associate to check raw materials, in-process items, and final products for defects on the production floor.

You will collect samples, perform lab tests, operate and calibrate laboratory equipment, record results, and help identify root causes of production variations to maintain compliance and product quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent.
• Able to perform heavy duties including lifting and standing for long periods.
• Hardworking, self-motivated and dependable with excellent attendance.
• Excellent multitasking to handle production-floor tasks.

Responsibilities

• Check raw materials, in-progress, and final products for defects.
• Collect samples from assembly or manufacturing lines and run laboratory or stress tests according to company rules.
• Operate, clean, calibrate, and maintain lab tools, gauges, and test machinery.
• Record test results, log non-conforming or defective items, and prepare daily compliance reports.
• Report issues to supervisors, find root causes of defects, and help fix production line variations.

• Collect samples from assembly or manufacturing lines and run laboratory or stress tests according to company rules.
• Operate, clean, calibrate, and maintain lab tools, gauges, and test machinery.

• Report issues to supervisors, find root causes of defects, and help fix production line variations
