Job summary

Accenture Southeast Asia is seeking a Software Quality Engineer to analyze and consult on complex software QA projects across standards and methodologies. You will lead QA activities, coordinate with project teams and ensure quality across multiple projects.

The role requires strong communication in English and Malay, solid IT knowledge, and hands-on experience with QA strategies, databases, and software architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or postgraduate qualification in IT Engineering.
• Ability to express technical concepts in business terms for clients.
• English and Malay language skills with good written and spoken ability.
• Well organized, independent, and able to meet deadlines.
• In-depth QA strategy, process and tools knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with client-server, Web and mobile computing.
• Strong SQL Server/DB2 knowledge and data handling skills.
• Experience with C#, .Net, AJAX, JavaScript, and C language.
• Handheld app development experience across Android, iOS and Windows Mobile.

Responsibilities

• Communicate work plans, status and issues to management.
• Collaborate with project teams to prioritize requirements.
• Lead QA efforts across multiple projects including unit, system integration, user and regression testing.
• Integrate QA engineering and analysis functions on software projects.
• Review projects to assess attainment of quality goals.
• Test new programs and tools, assess usability and documentation, make recommendations.
• Create and maintain QA documentation and procedures.
• Evaluate processes and coordinate recommendations for standards and guidelines.
